| PreSchool-K–This appealing collection of original rhymes and riddles focuses on activities that are part of the kindergarten experience, such as attendance, show-and-tell, and classroom pets. First timers will see what they can look forward to and kindergarteners might enjoy reviewing the familiar events. The simple, interactive rhymes are occasionally forced or lacking in sparkle, but overall they provide a light, accessible introduction for new students. | This book is a particular favorite of mine from my children's library of books. It has colorful, exciting illustrations of life in kindergarten. The words are lively rhymes that will excite and prepare your child for the days of kindergarten.
Wonderful to read all at once or a section at a time. Sections include events such as a pizza party, Halloween, Thanksgiving and show-and-tell.
Extremely fun and enough to get any child excited about kindergarten.
I like that the children in the book are people and not animal characters, really helps children to identify more easily.
Highly recommend. |
