| Wrapped in Love is a wonderful exploration of "bumps in the night" the fears that night noises can cause, and how to overcome those fears. Snoozer's plight will be familiar to young children, and his parents' constant reassurances are on point and very helpful. My own 4-year old son is very concerned about monsters and noises in the night, and when we got this book, I think we read it ten times in three days - he loved it. Reading and re-reading Wrapped in Love has honestly helped my son learn to be less afraid. He recognizes the sounds in the book now, of course, but reading Wrapped in Love also gives him tools and courage to face new sounds and new anxieties. It's a great book - well written, fun to read, and with a gentle but powerful message. Highly recommended. |

| Jan Johnston is now a happily retired grandmother who travels in a motor home across North America with her husband, Dick, and her little dog, Nomie. The inspiration for Wrapped in Love came from experiences with both her grandson and her puppy. This is her first published children's book.
Maria Eugenia has illustrated more than 60 books for kids and adults. She has participated in many illustration exhibitions, such as the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, the Society of Illustrators NY Show, and the Fabulous Colored Pencils Show in Italy. Her illustrations can also be seen in Brazil's largest newspaper, Folha de Sao Paulo, where she has been a permanent collaborator since 1992. |
