| "Franklin and the Stopwatch" is a fun and funny adaptation of a "Franklin" television story in which Franklin finds an old stopwatch in the family drawer. In this story, somewhat modified from the version aired on TV, Franklin starts using the stopwatch to time everything. He times his parents, but they don't seem to like the observations he makes after timing them. So he goes to find his friends, but they find themselves annoyed with being timed as well. That's when they decide that turnabout is fair play.
"Franklin and the Stopwatch" is a amusing story that should easily appeal to any fan of the young turtle. This book is part of the "Kids Can Read" series -- Level 2 -- Read with Help. |
