Manny has been called upon to fix Mr. Singh's daughter's swingset. When Manny and the tools arrive they discover that Mr. Singh is much to busy to play with his daughter. While Manny works on the swingset, the tools get to know the young girl, and become her new playmates.

| As with all Handy Manny books, this is about helping. The sweet thing in this story is that by doing an ordinary job for someone, the tools (and not really Handy Manny) helped a dad realize that he needed to take a break from his work and spend time with his daughter because she was more important. |
