| In I Am Invited to a Party! Piggie is invited to her first party. She doesn't know what to wear, though, so she asks her best friend Elephant for help. Elephant's advice is odd to say the least, so Piggie will try on all sorts of zany outfits before finally arriving at the party for a hilarious surprise. |

| My daughter just received this book as a birthday present. I read it to her once before nap today. When she woke up we read it again. Before bed she wanted to read it again. On the third reading she starting cracking up laughing every time I read the "Wait!" line. She insisted I read it three more times laughing harder and harder each time. After we turned off the light, she begged for me to read it just one more time in the dark. She has never asked for that before. After that time, she asked if we could read it as soon as she wakes up in the morning. Of course I said YES! She had a similar response to "Dont let the Pigeon Drive the Bus," but not that intense. We cant wait to get more Piggie books!! |

| Mo Willems is the author of groundbreaking picture books, including; Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale (Caldecott Honor winner 2004); Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! (Caldecott Honor winner 2003); Don't Let the Pigeon Stay up Late!; The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog!; Time to Say "Please"!; Leonardo, the Terrible Monster; Edwina, the Dinosaur Who Didn't Know She Was Extinct. He also wrote Today I will Fly! and My Friend Is Sad, the first books in this series.
In his previous life, Mo was a six-time Emmy Award winning writer and animator for Sesame Street and the creator of Cartoon Network's Sheep in the Big City. He lives with his family in Brooklyn, New York.
