| Eleanor hippo loves to talk--but unfortunately not everything that she says is true. She gossips about everyone in her kingdom, but rarely is anything she says true. She thinks that everything is fine until a band of zebras come to town.
The zebras are entertained by Eleanor's lies, until Eleanor goes too far and lies about the local king. When the king summons Eleanor to a private conference, something happens that reveals the truth to everyone around.
ELEANOR THE HIPPO LEARNS TO TELL THE TRUTH is an adorable rhyming book that will help to teach your child about lying and how that lies will be discovered and you'll get in trouble for them. It also stresses how telling the truth is also more fun than lies.
My two little girls were completely fascinated by this tale, and my five-year-old wanted it read over and over. I enjoyed the lesson that the book included.
Filled with colorful illustrations, and a tale that rhymed, this book will hold your child's attention for multiple readings. It might even become a new favorite.
