| 5 stars,The artwork is colorful and pops out in bright, beautiful colors. The story is simple and sweet. Strawberry and her friends decide to have a sleepover, and everyone is excited except for Raspberry. Strawberry discovers Raspberry is nervous because she has never done that before, and the girls help Raspberry overcome her fears in a sweet way. They suggest she bring a stuffed animal to remind her of home, and little things like that. Raspberry gives it a try, and of course, has a fabulous time and cannot wait until the next sleepover. I have noticed there are a couple of ways Strawberry is drawn, and in this book, the girls look like young teenagers (not little girls and, and Apple Dumpling isn't in the book).

| Lauren Cecil grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Language.
In 2005 she moved to New York and began working in children's publishing. She has written many children's books for licensed properties such as Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Littlest Pet Shop, High School Musical, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy, and more.
