Foreign Customer Review / 国外客户评价: |
I don't even know how this book got into our small collection, but my almost 4 yr old daughter was immediately captivated by the story-like narrative of how robins make a nest, lay eggs, develop, hatch and learn to fly. Also, it shows the feather of about 20 birds, pictures of them around the world, about 8 different eggs and 10 different places birds make nests (including a floating nest!) I thought these lists/iterations would leave her bored, but now I can't get past them. She wants to know them all and tries to guess when I ask her which is which. I am very impressed by the simplicity of the narrative and illustrations in this book - perfect for little minds to keep focused on. I will be looking out for other books in this series. |
