| My daughter received this as a gift for her 5th birthday. We have another Strawberry Shortcake scratch and sniff, the Berrylicious Bakeoff, which had almost no scent from the moment we bought it, so I was a little skeptical. Well, they figured out how to do it right! This book has wonderful, yummy smells, including Angels cupcakes, strawberry ice cream, cotton candy, huckleberry gum, orange lollipop, and a few others. They all smell very nice and strong (some may find the scents even a bit too strong at first), and I can tell that the scents will last for a good long while. In addition to the nice scents the story is very cute, with everyone winning a contest or game except Blueberry Muffin. At the end, she feels like a "loser", but her friends assure her that since she played fairly and was happy for her friends when they won that she's actually a winner too. Then they share their treats with her. A nice message. The quality of the book is very high, with thick, laminated pages that will take a bit of abuse. Highly recommend for any Strawberry fans. |
