| Mr. Crocodile needs a job apparently. So says Mrs. Crocodile. But what to do? Luckily, Mr. Crocodile is a croc with imagination. He could be a soccer star—Mr. Soccerdile has a nice ring to it. Or perhaps a cook—Mr. Cookodile sounds splendid. But what would be even easier for a lazy croc would be to turn into Mr. Crookodile and rob a bank!! | John Bush has written many picture books, some of which have been illustrated by Korky Paul, such as The Fish Who Could Wish. John's other well-known pictures books are The Bungle in the Jungle, The Cross With Us Rhinoceros and The Giraffe Who Got in a Knot. This is his first Banana. He lives in South Africa. Korky Paul is an illustrator with many well-loved books to his name, such as the best-selling Winnie the Witch series. He has also illustrated two Red Bananas about Pa Jinglebob: the Fastest Knitter in the West (written by Mary Arrigan). He lives in Oxford. |
