| Toot’s adventures in India really take off when he climbs aboard an elephant called Rohini for a tour around town. The two become fast friends after Toot shares his apple and water with Rohini. Later, to thank Toot for his kindness, she takes him to see the secret, sacred elephant pool where Toot meets all of Rohini’s family. Toot is going to have an amazing story to tell when he arrives back home in Woodcock Pocket! |

| I was disappointed in this book because I expected much more scenes and topics
relating to India. I feel the author really didn't capture what could be
conveyed about India. I bought this book for my grandchild and was hoping the illustrations
and story would be a good way to learn more about life in India, but it really did not. |
