| Paula Metcalf is a hugely talented illustrator with a growing reputation. She made up her mind to be an illustrator at the tender age of sixteen and, since then, has graduated from Anglia Polytechnic University with a First Class Honours degree in illustration and an MA in children's illustration. She won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2003. Her first book, MABEL'S MAGICAL GARDEN (1 405 05503 0) was published by Macmillan in May 2005. She has also illustrated OUR STRIPY BABY (1 405 02211 6) which was published in July 2006.
