Foreign Customer Review / 国外客户评价: |
We own several of Mo Willem's books and enjoy them all very much. Since there are already many positive reviews on the book, what is significant to me is that my 4-year daughter is learning to read 3-4 letter words and she really took to this book the first time I read it to her. Even though there are some longer and harder words to sound out, she attempted to read it several times on her own through sounding out the letters and word and image recognition. And she also loved imitating how the two characters would sound because the expressions on their faces and the use of capitalization in the balloons helped her identify with the text. I am constantly searching for easy-to-read books to encourage her to practice reading and this book definitely captivated her. |
