| PreSchool-Stanley poses the title question in relation to 12 familiar animals and replies with the sounds they make. "What do you say to a pig? oink oink/What do you say to a lion? rrrrrooooar-." The final colorful underwater spread reads: "And what do you say to a little fish?" The turn of the page reveals the answer: "Hello little fish!" Set against contrasting pastel backgrounds, the creatures are centered on each page with their sounds written in playful fonts underneath. A solid, but not particularly inspired concept book for lapsits and toddler storytimes.
