| This little book is charming and wonderful. It is the story of Max, a young boy who is chosen to play the Star of Christmas in his class play. But he feels underwhelmed with his role; he has only one line 'Follow Me' so he wants to try to help with some of the other roles. But he cannot play Mary, and his purple trees are not appreciated. He does not know the songs. The teacher takes him aside to tell him how important his role is. The illustrations are colorful, bright, vibrant and very charming. It is a great story for the whole family. |

| Brandi Dougherty is the author of The Valentine's Day Disaster, a middle grade novel, as well as The Littlest Pilgrim. She lives in San Francisco.
Kirsten Richards graduated with a BA in General Illustration and currently resides in a little town near Oxford, England, where she paints and draws to her heart's content.
