Overview / 简介: |
The eighth title in the new "Usborne Very First Reading" series, designed for younger children to introduce them to reading together with their parents. Parents and children take turns to read from the page (the text clearly marked for who should be reading) and as the books progress in the series the adults read less and less and the child more and more. There are puzzles at the end to check the child's understanding of the text and guidance notes for the parents. Beautiful illustrations help to motivate beginner readers |
About the Author / 作者介绍: |
Lesley has written ever since she can remember. After winning prizes for English at school, she went on to study law at university because her mother insisted she had something to fall back on.She qualified as a barrister but realised she didn't want to spend her life in a wig. She was also writing short stories when she should have been revising for her Bar Finals, another clue that she wasn't cut out for legal life. Instead, she joined a small publishing company and edited their directory of the legal profession. |
