| SBN 0316113190 - Cute baby animal pictures can hardly be anything other than great, right? And why should they be only for little kids? Because it's a board book?! Don't let that hold you back - this one's a keeper.
Adorable photos of adorable animals, mostly puppies and kittens, but also including a lamb. Large text on pastel backgrounds accompany each photo.
Author Jane E. Gerver is largely uncredited, with her name in very tiny letters on the back cover; on the front cover, all credit goes to photographer Rachel Hale. This is acceptable, since the real point of the book is the photos! Children will certainly love the book, but so will adults. LOL Cats have entire websites dedicated to them - fans of those will love this book.
For the kids, the board pages are of two-fold benefit: they stand up to much handling and are very easy for small fingers to turn. The pages are glossy, which wipe clean easily, and the book is small enough to stick in a bag and take along when you're out.
