About the Author / 作者介绍:

Holly Karapetkova is a poet, translator, and children's author. Her first full-length collection of poetry is Words We Might One Day Say, from Washington Writers' Publishing House. She is also the author of over 20 children's books and teacher resources. She teaches literature and writing at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.

作者Holly Karapetkova在本书中介绍了5个可爱的小动物，它们分别是乌龟、蛇、兔子、骆驼、鸟儿，并且问它们在哪里生活呀？这5个可爱的小动物就勇敢的回答“I do.”（是我住在沙漠里。）沙漠的生活很艰苦，但是它们都很乐观的面对生活，希望小宝贝们看完这个小故事后，也能像这些可爱的小动物一样，每天乐观、开心的面对生活，相信宝贝们一定会做的很棒，加油哦！
