Similar to another reviewer, we checked this out of the library but after several renewals I decided to buy it. I do get a little confused when to sing and when to read the lines and I don't think they always flow, but we manage. My 2 year old loves farm animals and loves the song Baa Baa Black Sheep so it's one of his favorites. It has also given us a chance to talk about where milk comes from, silk, eggs, honey, etc. I think he is still struggling to understand the page with the dream at the end but he will get there. For now, it creates a great learning opportunity with one of his favorite songs and it's a fun book to read at bedtime. |
