| We originally checked this one out of the library - and instantly knew that we had to purchase it. The book consists of a top half and bottom half for which the pages can be turned separately. Numbers from 1 to 10 accompanied by the appropriate number of black squares need to be paired with the picture with the same number of fruit on the bottom page. The number word (in bold) and name of the fruit are on the left hand side of the bottom pages. In addition, the fruit are of course, different colors with each of the primary and secondary colors represented at least once. What a wonderful way to expose children to multiple references for numbers! |
