| This is one of our favorites at our house, and we seem to have just about every sing-a-long book out there! My 15 mo. old son thinks this book is the best....he loves the vehicles, and I like that it teaches colors, too. The art is kind of folky...very unique, colorful, and complex without being difficult to understand. Each page is a different vehicle, seen from the perspective of a yellow car traveling home from Grandpa's house ("The green digger scoops up the icky sticky sand, the icky sticky sand, the icky sticky sand. The green digger scoops up the icky sticky sand on the journey home from Grandpa's") At the end you can trace the whole journey and see all the vehicles and shops that you've passed. A charming book--simple and fun. |

| Jemima Lumley is an author and graphic designer. She lives in Bristol, England with her husband and two children. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress, who studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Paris. Her brightly colored illustrations and quirky style are world-renowned and have graced the pages of several other Barefoot books including If You re Happy and You Know It!,The Real Princess and The Story Tree. Sophie lives in Florence, Italy.Fred Penner has been entertaining children and adults alike for more than twenty years.
