This charming concept book puts the child-reader "in charge" of an assortment of unruly little monsters (stand-ins for their real-life counterparts) who are wild, noisy, hungry, scary, selfish, and grump. Sound familiar? The emphasis is on helping the monsters figure out how to change behaviors so that they can become happier, more more well-behaved kids |
Foreign Customer Review / 国外客户评价: |
Monsters are often on the minds of youngsters, some love them and others are afraid of what they may do. This bold and brightly colored book shows children that they are in the driver's seat. If a monster does something they don't like, they have the power to change it. Using witty and concise sentences this story has the right combination of information and humor. The expressive monsters placed in foreground of flamboyant patterns kept my 2 and 3-year-old classes engrossed from cover to cover. Sometimes monsters and people don't share and won't go to bed. This book teaches children we all can all act beastly, but there are good ways to deal with it. |
