| I disagree with the other reviewer. I have participated in and seen numerous versions of the Nutcracker where Candy Canes take the place of the Russian Dance and I don't think the Snow fairy is too far off from the Snow Queen. I never expected this book to tell the Nutcracker story. It is perfect for a taste of the dances in the Nutcracker Ballet, but done for a toddler to understand. The illustrations are cute as can be. This has become one of the holiday favorites of my toddler. . |
