| I agree with the other reviewer. This book is nothing like the original. It has hints of the original but many of the storylines are WAY WAY off. Whoever heard of a Dorothy with silver shoes? Give me a break - I would return this if I could but it's been too long. I'll give it away - can't bring myself to read this to my son with so many inconsistencies. Look for a book that is accurate! |

| Carol Ottolenghi has written nonfiction and fiction books for adults and children for almost 20 years. In 1996, she won the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Magazine Merit Honor Award. One of her stories was selected for Best of the Children's Market by the Institute of Children's Literature. She currently lives in Ohio.
