| These abridged versions of the popular Magic School Bus series are perfect for my first grader to read independently. When we first got one, I was disappointed by the shorter text with fewer of the interesting and funny facts that we love in MSB. Then I realized that the longer stories are very interesting, but daunting for a 6/7 year old. My son can down and can read these cover to cover by himself (okay, he missed the word "eight"). It's an interesting story and still Magic School Bus to him, just scaled down a bit. Perfect! |
