| Kids learn the names of a host of noises when they turn the wheels and see animals move in this book. Among the sounds are singing birds perched in the front cover's tree. Funny illustrations of frolicking animals are printed on sturdy board pages and book covers of all Slide and See Books. All pages are thick enough to contain cut-out windows with turning wheels that make parts of each picture move. When kids turn a wheel to slide an animal in or out of its picture, they reveal a short message in simple words that appears in a second window. The message says something about what's happening in the illustration. Toddlers will be amused by each picture's simple action while they learn the ideas of touch, action, feelings, and sound. |
