| School buses are very bright, distinctive, and sometimes mysterious things to a toddler. In the story, we see what "a day in the life of a bus" is like. Buses have homes. People have homes. Buses stop. People stop. It's a wondeful analogy that she understands.
Donald Crews' books are favorites around the house because of their very colorful pictures and simple text. Also recommended: Freight Train, Parade.
