| This is one of the best beginning readers I have ever found. I teach first grade and my kids adore this series about a silly dog and all his adventures. This book is a great introduction to color mixing as the dog dips himself into pots of paint. My kids particulrly enjoy the page where he shouts: "Watch out for Rainbow Dog!" and leaps into the wading pool with the baby. Kids will want to read this over and over again. The illustrations are hilarious. |
