| Appealing pictures accompany a straight forward text. "Sometimes I use all my senses at once...When I laugh and play with my puppy, I use four senses. I see, hear, smell and touch...each sense is very important to me because it makes me aware. To be aware is to see all there is to see...hear all there is to hear...[etc]." I like the progression from simple statements to more complex ideas, especially the use of the word 'aware'. How many early readers are aware of the word 'aware' and connect it to their senses? After reading this book, they all will! |
