| Keeker and Plum get to go to sleepaway camp for a whole week. But fun turns to surprise when Keeker learns that her bunkmate is none other than her horse-show rival, Tifni. The girls put aside their differences and become fast friends, but when Tifni's spirited pony bolts, Keeker has to decide whether to play it safe or save her friend. |

| As a rider since childhood and the mom of two horse crazy girls, I can highly recommend the Keeker and Plum stories. There is enough horsey adventures to thrill the children, enough humor to make both adults and kids laugh. My 13 year old daughter loves to listen in while I read Keeker stories to her much younger sister (aged 7, who can read these easily on her own but we have so much fun giggling over the stories together, she doesn't want to!).
This story is about horse sleep away camp and how being a younger rider doesn't mean you can't be an excellent horseman/horsewoman. The story has classic sleepaway camp info (staying up too late, eating too much candy, having fun with your buddies) which just makes it more fun. Enjoy! |
