| My daughter was is a fan of the show so I bought it for her along with some other books for Christmas. The interactive elements of the show do not translate well into a book and there are no super letters to look out for - so no 'super story answer'. To me the story seems rather abbreviated and disjointed. However the text is supplemented with some reoccurring pictures, so the child can help you 'read' through picture recognition. I guess it makes it interactive but not sure how this helps them learn how to read (though no doubt educationalists would have an answer!). My daughter enjoys the book when we read it, but I wouldn't say its a big 'favourite'. She doesn't choose it very often. |
